Rental Conditions And House Rules
With your reservation of a short-term or long-term stay you confirm that you have read and will adhere to the HOUSE RULES during your stay.
Electricity and air-conditioning
When using the a/c all doors and windows must be closed. Turn the a/c off whenever you leave the apartment. Un-pluck all electric devices in the kitchen and living area that are that are not in use. Turn off the fan on the porch during the night.
Garbage disposal
Throw all food scraps into separate bucket under the sink and empty it on a regular base onto the feeding grounds of my neighbors chicken. This keeps ants and other insects away from the kitchen area and the air fresh and clean.
If you have a full garbage bag, please take it down to Pelicanos street, which is the closest street to Coral Negro street, and leave it where there is already other garbage.
Glass and plastic bottles can get disposed into the big plastic basket in the left corner of my parking area. Please flatten all plastic bottles prior to disposing them!
Toilet paper
All toilet paper and similar items must be disposed into the bin next to the toilet. It’s a typical Mexican thing. The town’s waste water treatment plant is not equipped for processing all that extra material.
Change of bedsheets and towels, washing machine usage
Short-term guests: If you stay longer than one week you will be provided with fresh sheets and towels once a week. You may use the washing machine for personal items upon request.
Long-term renters: You may use the washing machine at any time to wash bedsheets, towels or personal items. Laundry gets sun-dried at the roof top.
Security
The street gate must kept closed at all times. It is not permitted to hand out keys to people who don’t live here. Alway lock your apartment when you leave.
Noise management
Parties are not allowed. Please keep the noise level reasonable during the day and very low between 10pm and 7am.
Things not functioning
Should anything not function properly, please let the owner/manager know immediately, so that it can get repaired.
Emergency situations
If you need help in an emergency situation during the night, don’t hesitate to come up and knock on the owner’s door. She keeps her phone turned off at night.
Staying with your dog
You may bring along one dog that is well trained and friendly with other dogs. Cats are not allowed. You agree to take your dog out onto the street regularly to poop and pee. You also agree to walk the property’s premisses twice a day and remove any turds.
Check-out
When checking out, please clean all your dishes and empty the refrigerator of all perishable items, put all the non-food garbage in one bag and leave it in the kitchen.
You can leave all the textiles (bed sheets, towels, kitchen towels etc) where they are.
Leave the keys inside on the table and lock the door.
